First political rant

Most of this has already been shared on Facebook in August, but unless you were part of the conversation, you didn't get to see it.  Here are some facts to throw at you.
     The Obama Campaign would like you to believe that big business, especially Bain Capitol is bad.  First of all, there is a man named Mr Jeff Zients that used to work for the EVIL Bain Capitol.  He now is the Budget Chief of the Obama Administration and has been since January 2012. Mr Zients is married to (you may have heard) Mary Menell, 4 years his senior at Bain Capitol.
     Another fun fact for everyone is that the unemployment rate for the US has been above 8% for longer than the duration of the Great Depression. While Gov. Romney was CEO of Bain Capitol, not only did they create over 100,000 jobs and saved major companies like Staples, Steal Dynamics, Bright Steal and Sports Authority, the company was also in charge with creating and managing profits for their investors-most of whom were pension funds for Police, Firemen, and teachers, endowments and foundations. On the other hand, under the Obama administration (since January 2009) it has been advertised that over 1500 jobs per day have been lost.  Using the math from www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter and information from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (using non-farm job numbers) here is what was posted:  Using the preliminary numbers, a net 1,661,000 jobs were lost nationwide.  Assuming that three years means 1,095 days - or 365 times 3 - then 1,517 net jobs were lost per day.  In the same time period, gas prices have increased over 82% which is only rivaled by the gas shortage of the 70's.  Everyday, more than 6,000 people slip below the poverty level and over 13,000 people apply for food stamps.  He say's "The private sector is doing fine."  However, the median income across the US has dropped approx $4,500.
     Gov. Romney and Bain Capitol is criticized for dismantaling and shutting down companies, how many GM and Chrysler Dealerships were closed down, to include privately owned dealerships (destroying families lives) by the Obama administration's "Car Czar" Steve Rattner. GM stock is way down to approx $20 per share and are on the brink of declaring Bankruptcy AGAIN! President Obama has stated on several occasions that he wants to do the same "recovery" with other business because he feels the "Bail-Out" was a huge success.
     The Department of Energy's Inspector General (a non-political appointee) found that billions of dollars were channeled to companies that had been started by Politicians who are friends with with the President. I would say the POTUS looked after these companies very well (Solyndra, Evergreen Solar...).
     The following information I obtained from reading "Obama's America", which the movie "2016" is based on.  In 2008, President Obama did an interview with Charlie Gibson of ABC News.  The topic was raising the capital gains tax rate on the rich.
          Gibson:  George Bush has taken it down to 15 percent.  And in each instance, when the rate         dropped, revenues from the tax increased-the government took in more money.  And in the 1980's, when the tax was increased to 28 percent, the revenues went down.  So why raise it at all, especially given the fact that 100 million people in this country own stock and would be affected?
          Obama:  Well, Charlie, what I've said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness.
          Gibson:  But history shows that when you drop the capital gains tax, the revenues go up.
          Obama:  Well, that might happen, or it might not.

Really Mr. President, that is your answer.  And this idea of fairness has nothing to do with the ideals that America was founded on.  The United States Declaration of Independence, which was primarily drafted by Thomas Jefferson was adopted by the Second Continental Congress on July 4, 1776. The text of the second section of the Declaration of Independence reads,
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
No place does it say we have the "right to Happiness", it says "the pursuit of Happiness".  What he is alluding to is Socialism, not Democracy!
